Hi, I am Nikki
Registered nurse, nurse practitioner candidate, and the person behind Empower Endo. I help people with endometriosis and persistent pelvic pain understand their bodies, build a plan, and feel genuinely supported.
Before Empower Endo, I built something else. I helped create a nurse led endometriosis service and gave four and a half years of my life to it. I loved it. So I chose to do this my own way.
I spent six years in intensive care and five in palliative care before I moved into endometriosis and pelvic pain. What struck me most was the level of distress people were carrying, often more than I had seen at the end of life. It has never left me.
Somewhere along the way I learned something simple. People do not always need something fancy. Often they need the right information, and someone who truly listens. That is where empower and educate came from. Empowerment through knowledge, so you can access the care you need and build your own strategies.
You do not have to do a lot to make a huge difference. You just have to make people feel safe.
There is listening, and there is hearing. I try to hear what you are saying, because that is the clue to what you actually need. Not my priorities. Yours. I want to understand where you are, what you have capacity for, and what matters most to you right now.
Healthcare is more than a symptom or a pelvis. It is the whole person, and how that person moves through the world they live in. That is the care I want to give.
What you walk away with
A clearer understanding of your pain and your body
A plan, and a sense of direction
Practical strategies you can use day to day
Someone in your corner who will go into bat for you
To feel seen, believed and never retraumatised
